Two selections at the International Music & Cinema Festival of Marseille. Selections that reward the fantastic work of the sound and music teams of both films. For Na marei, it is the audacity of François Le Guen and Hubert Caldagues that deserves recognition. Note that François and Hubert already composed the soundtrack for Matapang, Léa-Jade’s first film in 2022. For In silence everything roars, congratulations to Stéphane Debien, sound designer, who passionately studied the singing of Georgian birds. This selection undoubtedly has a special flavor since the film features neither music nor dialogue. A beautiful way to acknowledge that in cinema, music is also silence.
